Trying to find comfortable pyjamas for an eczema child can be doubly difficult – not only do you want to find a set of pyjamas that doesn’t irritate or inflame their eczema, but you also want to find pyjamas that also look nice. SilverSense presented by SilverGuard Allergy Pyjamas are the perfect choice. Our soft feel allergy pyjamas contain IONIC+ antimicrobial silver thread and built in fully covered mitts and foot panels which provide protection from involuntary scratching while sleeping, minimising damage to sore skin and giving it the best possible chance to heal and regenerate. 

Our range of allergy pyjamas are unisex in design and colour. There are currently available in two colours – mustard stripe and red stripe – and come in a range of sizes from 18 months to 8 years.

 

How it Works

Silver is clinically proven to prevent inflammation by naturally soothing the skin and silver’s healing properties are increasingly recognised and recommended by dermatologists. SilverSense clothing is made from cotton rich knitted fabrics which are blended with Noble Biomaterial’s proprietary IONIC+ silver thread technology*. The silver thread in the garments have antimicrobial properties which can help ease the itchiness of eczema and other skin conditions and soothe broken and irritated skin. SilverSense clothing also helps to prevent bacteria from building up on already broken skin which can cause further soreness and infection.

IONIC+ is not a chemical coating and can not be washed out or rubbed off, it is a silver thread that is woven in our products and will continue to deliver antimicrobial protection for the lifetime of the product.

How does it do it? IONIC+ silver works by breaking down the DNA of bacteria and other microbes. It is these bacteria that causes the inflammation, itchiness and infection in skin conditions. Bacteria cannot become resistant to the silver in our products so continual treatment is provided.

These mitts and foot panels are sewn closed and cannot be opened
• Loose fitting cotton blend jersey fabric with silver thread: these roomy, comfy garments have a covered elastic waistband, won't pinch at the wrist and fit loosely under the arms for extra comfort
• Envelope Style Neckline: makes it easier to put on the allergy pyjama top without irritating sore cheeks and ears
• Machine washable at 40 degrees using non-biological detergent
• No itchy internal labels: all our labels are external and don’t have hard edges
